Who is responsible
RODMENA LIMITED, company number 16472788, of London, SE1, UK, is the controller for personal data processed by Uptime.Systems. Contact us at support@uptime.systems.
What we hold
- Account details — your name, email address and password hash.
- What you configure — the addresses you monitor, their settings, your status pages, maintenance windows and notification channels.
- What we observe — the result of every check we run for you: status code, response time, the observer that ran it, and the incidents derived from them.
- Security records — sign-in times, the IP address and browser used, and active sessions, so you can see and revoke them.
What we do not hold
We do not store the bodies of the responses we fetch beyond what a keyword check needs to decide pass or fail. We do not sell data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Why we hold it
To provide the service you asked for, which is our contractual basis; and to keep the service secure and accountable, which is our legitimate interest. Notification addresses are used to notify you and for nothing else.
How long
Check results and incidents stay for as long as the account exists, because their value is the history. Delete a monitor and its history goes with it. Close your account and we remove your personal data, keeping only what we must for legal or accounting reasons.
Who else sees it
Our infrastructure and email providers, acting on our instructions, and nobody else unless the law requires it. If you configure a webhook, you are asking us to send the payload you chose to the address you chose; what happens to it there is governed by that recipient.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to support@uptime.systems. If you are in the UK and unhappy with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
We use browser storage for the things the application cannot work without: your session token, your theme choice, and a few interface preferences such as whether the sidebar is collapsed. There is no analytics or advertising tracking, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
