Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026

Who you are contracting with

Uptime.Systems is operated by RODMENA LIMITED, company number 16472788, registered in England and Wales, of London, SE1, UK. "We" and "us" mean that company; "you" means the person or organisation using the service.

What the service does

We make periodic requests to addresses you nominate and record what we observe: whether the request succeeded, how long it took, and what the response said. We open an incident when checks fail consecutively and close it when they recover, and we can notify you by email or by calling a webhook you provide.

What the service does not do

  • We do not send SMS or make phone calls. Anything that implies otherwise is a mistake on our part, and we would like to know about it.
  • We do not guarantee that a check failure means your service is down, or that a successful check means it is up. A check is one observation from one vantage at one moment.
  • We are not a substitute for your own alerting on your own infrastructure, and you should not rely on us as the only thing standing between an outage and your customers.

Acceptable use

Monitor addresses you own or are authorised to monitor. Do not use the service to probe systems you have no relationship with, to generate load against a third party, or to circumvent anyone's access controls. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously and publish its current state on this site, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Planned work is announced in advance where we can.

Your data

You keep ownership of the monitors, addresses and contact details you enter. We keep the check results and incidents we generate for as long as your account exists, so the history stays useful. See the Privacy Policy for what we hold and why.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time. We may end your access for a breach of these terms, and will tell you why where we lawfully can.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on a check result as a statement of fact about your own systems.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when we last did. Questions go to support@uptime.systems.
